High-voltage switch crank with a shaped drive socket
This crank has a compact lever body with a square or shaped socket at one end and a hooked working feature at the other. The socket establishes how the crank is indexed on the shaft, so the hook position must be controlled by angle from that drive profile.
Fit points that deserve attention
Define the drive socket by full profile and fit.
Dimension the working hook or contact point by radius and angle from the shaft center.
Control the side faces if the crank runs in a narrow mechanism.
The most important inspection is the relationship between the socket and the opposite working feature. Checking them from the same fixture is more useful than measuring the outer contour independently.
Keeping the drive and output features timed
When you send the RFQ: Send the mating shaft profile, material requirement, working-angle data and any hardness or surface-treatment specification.
