TIANHUI recently added several types of inspection equipment: a metallographic tester, a CMM, a tensile testing machine and a spectrometer.
They do different jobs. The spectrometer helps identify material composition, the CMM checks dimensions, and tensile testing provides information about mechanical properties. Metallographic inspection can also help examine material structure or treated layers.
Not every part needs every test. The inspection plan still depends on the drawing and the customer's requirements, but it's useful to have more of these checks available in-house.
