Investment Casting Components

Investment casting is most useful when a part has geometry that would be difficult or expensive to create by machining alone. Curved surfaces, internal transitions, small details and near-net-shape features can often be formed directly in the casting.

TIANHUI MACHINE provides precision investment casting services for custom cast parts and components using the silica-sol process. Materials include stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy steel and other castable engineering grades.

Typical investment casting parts are used in pumps and valves, industrial machinery, automotive systems, food equipment and other applications requiring complex metal shapes.

Before tooling, we review wall thickness, fillets, transitions, shrinkage, machining allowance and critical dimensions. After casting, parts can be CNC machined, heat treated, straightened, ground, polished or passivated according to the drawing.

The aim is to cast as much useful geometry as practical while reserving machining for the surfaces and dimensions that genuinely require tighter control.
