The manufacturing route should be agreed against the finished geometry and order quantity. Identify the surfaces and mating features that govern acceptance rather than specifying processes that are not required by the design.

Show the block profile, locating faces, mounting holes and any passages or slots required by the mechanism. Include the drawing revision, required quantity and any sample or inspection documentation needed for approval.
