Compact switch rocker with a central bore and curved working profile
This carbon-steel part is a small rocker or cam plate with a central bore, a curved edge and a reinforced triangular section. Its working contour must be positioned correctly around the bore because that contour controls contact or travel in the mechanism.
Profile accuracy where it matters
The outer nonworking edges can often carry normal machining tolerance, while the pivot bore and active curved surface should receive the tighter inspection plan.
Dimensions that matter most
- Reference the curved working profile to the center bore.
- Define any stop face or point by angle from the pivot datum.
- Control thickness and bore fit where the part pivots between adjacent components.
