Snow removal on Japanese roads
In the northern regions of Japan, there is a lot of snowfall every year. Friends who have been to Japan will be surprised to find that in some areas of Japan, although the cold wave and heavy snow have caused a lot of snow in trees and parks, all the snow has melted on the roads.
This is because a snow removal system, also known as a snow melting pipe system, is installed on the road. This system continuously sprays groundwater, and the soft groundwater melts the snow on the road and ensures driving safety.

The working principle is very simple. Using the rich local groundwater resources, when it snows in winter, the sensor sends an instruction, the water pump will pump up the warm groundwater, pump it into the pipeline laid under the road, and then the groundwater will pass through the stainless steel precision parts produced by our company, Spray evenly on the road surface to melt the snow on the road. The water on the road seeps into the ground to replenish the groundwater.
Production of key parts for Japanese snow removal systems
Our company has been producing key stainless steel precision parts for snow removal systems since 2007 and is currently one of the only two suppliers in China.
In the early 2000s, our long-time Japanese customer, Mr. Arahito, improved the design of the snow removal system, then came to China to find a supplier, and our company has been producing this critical part for him ever since.
The stainless steel parts we produce need to be of good quality for several reasons:
Installed on the road, it needs to withstand the pressure caused by the back and forth of the vehicle, and the parts must be strong
And because the local groundwater is rich in iron, it will cause greater corrosion to the parts.
The local labor cost in Japan is very high, and the system cannot be damaged after installation
Therefore, our Japanese customers have put forward high requirements for the quality of our products. The appearance and key dimensions need to be fully inspected, and there must be no defects.
After our products leave the factory, customers also have local assembly and inspection centers to fully inspect the parts we produce. In the past 5 years, the pass rate of our products has reached a very high level, with an annual shipment of 100,000 sets. On average, only 10 parts are found to be unqualified every year, and the reason for the unqualified may be only slight inconsistencies such as water stains left in the cleaning of stainless steel castings.
