The following is the tool setting method of Fanak 0iMC machining center.
1. The milling cutter is slowly approaching the left side of the blank. When it is slightly scraped, press the X key and the screen will display an “origin” button. Press this button and the value of X on the screen will become 0.
2. Raise the Z axis, move the tool to the right side of the blank (Y axis can not move) Z axis down, slowly move the tool to the right side of the blank, stop when it is slightly scraped, and X becomes another value. (assuming this value is K)
3. Press the OFFSET button to enter one-half K of the value of X under G54. According to the measurement, the X axis is correct.
4. The Y-axis method is the same as the X-axis, with the tool hanging before and after the blank.
5. The Z axis is stopped by slowly lowering the upper surface of the blank with a cutter. Press OFFSET G54 and enter Z0 under the Z axis. That's right.
